A Little Sweetness, Made Just For You

           Every baker has a beginning, and this was mine!

My very first order was a half cake made for a little one celebrating their six-month milestone. I was so excited to create something special for my first customer, but the experience didn't go as I had hoped. My customer wasn't fully satisfied with the cake, and although it was difficult, it became apart of my journey as a baker.

Looking back, i recognize that every every beginning comes with lessons. This experience  taught me that baking is about more than creating something beautiful; it's about continuing to learn, improving my skills, and understanding the importance of bringing a customers vision to life.

This cake represents the courage it took to start, the lessons that came with it, and the first step toward the baker I'm becoming.

Every bit of growth starts somewhere, and this is where my story began.

From my very first order to this creation, the journey has been full of learning, experimenting, and pushing myself beyond my comfort zone.

For the Cake Picnic Tour, I challenged myself to create something I had never attempted before: the Monster Book of Monsters! FRom bringing the book's wild, textured appearance to life with buttercream to experimenting with modeling chocolate for the details, this bake pushed me to explore new techniques and trust my creativity.

But one of the most important rewarding parts is seeing the cake enjoyed at the event. By the end, approximately 90% of it was gone! Knowing that so much of my creation was enjoyed made the experience even more special.

This bake represents more than a cake. It represents the skills I've developed, the confidence I've gained, and the willingness to try something new even when  I haven't done it before.

I'm proud of how far I've come, ecited about what I'm learning, and even more excited for the magic still to come.
